NATIONAL NUTRITION MONTH SEMINAR

As a part of National Nutrition Month, on September 26 my college, along with the Government of Tamil Nadu, conducted a seminar on the importance of healthy food and diet. The guest gave us more information related to food and nutrition. She also talked about what to eat, how to eat, and what foods to avoid. This motivated us to follow a healthy diet and lifestyle. The guest, Ms. Saranya, taught us some simple yoga techniques, which were refreshing and energizing. They provided us with some healthy snacks and soups. We also got a chance to see some different kinds of cereals and pulses that were included in food during early times. On the whole, the programme helped us understand the importance of a healthy diet and a healthy body.
