KHADI MAHOTSAV AND SPOKEN ENGLISH CLASS INAUGRATION

On 26 October 2023 my college celebrated Kadhi Mahotsav and Spoken English class inaugration. As a part of kadhi day celebration students were encouraged to wear kadhi dresses. Mrs. P.Ruckmani, Assistant Professor of Mathematics department spoke about the importance of Kadhi and it's products. Followed by it my college also conducted Spoken English class inaugration where in Dr. Leonard Ashok the Principal of CMS College of Education and Dr.Sumathi Assistant Professor of Biological Science Department spoke about the importance of English language as a means of communication in India. I along with my two other classmates got a chance to host the show.

We were asked to dress up in traditional wears and they conducted various cultural events like dancing, singing and ramp walk competitions. Yoga is an ancient mind-body practice that originated in India over 5,000 years ago. Yoga is a practice that aims to unite the mind, body, and spirit, leading to a state of physical, mental, and emotional well-being. As a part of this CMS College of Education conducted a two day workshop on yoga and its importance on April 3 2024 and April 4 2024. This motivated students towards performing Yoga in regular basis which can improve flexibility, strength, balance, and coordination. It can also help to reduce pain, improve sleep, and boost the immune system.

LANGUAGE LAB TRAINING

On November 22, students underwent Language Lab training, enhancing their English language skills. Engaging stories were showcased, followed by exercises that encouraged active participation. This interactive approach helped students improve their listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills, boosting their confidence in communicating effectively in English.
