PARTITION HORROR REMEMBERANCE DAY

Partition Horror Remembrance Day was observed on 14 August 2024 at CMS College of Education, marking the tragic events surrounding the partition of British India in 1947, which led to the creation of two independent nations: India and Pakistan. This period was characterized by widespread communal violence, mass migrations, and deep-seated trauma, resulting in the loss of millions of lives and the displacement of countless families.

The remembrance day serves to honor the victims of the partition and to reflect on the horror and pain experienced by those who lived through this tumultuous time.
