STUDENTS SEMINAR ON THE ACCOUNT OF WORLD FOOD DAY
On the occasion of World Food Day, Biological Science Department students of CMS College of Education conducted a seminar on October 19 on the topic 'Culinary Chronicles: A Journey Through the Traditional Foods of Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Bihar, Kerala, and Karnataka.' We were introduced to different kinds of easily available and healthy ingredients that we use in our day-to-day lives. They also clearly explained the health benefits of all the ingredients. The students also talked about every state's unique and healthy food and its preparation method, which gave us more detail on food preparation. On the whole, this seminar gave me more insight into nutrition and the health benefits of most of the food items that we use in our day-to-day lives.
